Glasgow Tigers 62 Berwick Bandits 28

Heat 15: Parker from Rempala & Watson
Shane heads for the easiest max he'll score all year
The Shane Parker Show Part 1 (check the wee yin on the terracing, lovin' it!!)

The Shane Parker Show Pt2
Not a lot to be said about this meeting. Parker could have started off 15m in every race and still have hit double figures. A few good dices for minor places, Gary Beaton twice providing some entertainment as well as Michael Coles & Lee Dicken. To think we moaned about the lack of challenge in the Premier Trophy meeting. That was close in comparison. Had Kus remained in the meeting, the score may have been more respectable, with Burza & Rempala scoring well. At the other end Katajisto did ok with four third places, but would have been a tad embarrassed to have been Berwicks third highest scorer. Sam Martin rode a full card and only had one point to show for it as he was continually called on to ride for his fallen comrades. John McPhail, whilst a competent Academy League rider was unfortunately out of his depth in what I assume was his first PL meeting. Berwick don't have their troubles to seek, and seem to suffer near constant bad luck (Burza breaking a toe, Kus getting a concussion), but it doesn't help when, instead of conducting a little minor surgery on the team, the manager decides to wield the axe not once, but twice in a season. That's how it looks from the outside. I admit speak out of a degree of ignorance, but the results speak for themselves.
Bring on the Brummies!!
