Mitchell on his way to victory in heat 2. He seems to love the wet stuff and it's when things get a little grippier that he starts making mistakes. A fast and flawless ride here, followed up with a fine heat win later in the meeting. He's getting there, but just needs to cut out the erratic stuff.
1st lap pit bend action
Anders Andersen had a tough old day. Two last places and a 2nd place. Didn't seem to get on with the damp conditions early on, but gated well in heat 14, though it's possible to say that he maybe gated too well. Once Paul Cooper had found his way around Josh, Anders didn't look to be in a position to deny the Sheffield rider and so the meeting went down to Heat 15.......
Big Lee looked to be on for another good meeting until he came to grief in the middle of the meeting, injuring his finger. A daft looking move whilst lying third, and on a 3-3, put him into the boards. Get well soon big man!
Andre Compton was flawless all day and took a full max. He and Paul Cooper brought home the high scores for Sheffield.
