A 15 point maximum for James Grieves, a paid 15 for Shane, with Josh & Mitch doing the business further down the pecking order. Peter Juul picked up his first win for the Tigers, and we hope it's the first of many. Lee Smart made his Ashfield debut as a Tiger, and despite some gutsy riding, could only claim a single point.
The other noteworthy incident was an electrical failure with the starting gate in heat 1, necessitating the use of referee Jim McGregor and a length of elastic. The fault was fixed for heat 5 and normal service resumed with the Tigers clawing their way back from an early defecit.
Full story of the meeting and scorecard can be found at the Unofficial Glasgow Speedway website, courtesy of Lioness.
Pit pics, 2nd half pics and a clip of heat 13 will be up soon.
Cheers!
