US FLAT TRACK Part 1 - PEORIA TT 2010

Hi. I'll be sticking some bits and pieces up here over the close season to make the place look like it's still inhabited.

I'll try not to make it all You Tube clips. Hope to write a couple of articles and stick some interesting photos up. I'll try and make it as varied as possible & quite possibly there will be absolutely no speedway content whatsoever...............    : O

First up, Part 1 of a short series of posts about my current 'thing',  US Flat Track racing.  Been watching the British Short Track Championship on Motors TV recently, and it's stirred me to investigate further on the internet and stick on my copy of On Any Sunday for the thousandth time  =D

Above is an excellent piece of film from the Peoria Flat Track TT races. Not too sure about the music though.... "~

In Flat Track terms, A TT is usually a race involving a few corners and a jump. In most cases, the tracks are quite short and slow. Not Peoria. The jump is flat out and sits on a left hand kink, with a right hander to follow. Looks great fun to ride.
