Congratulations to Bert Harkins and his recent appointment as president of the World Speedway Riders' Association. Check the excellent wee article about him in the Herald here. Pictures of Bert in his days as a Monarch from 1966 to 69 and 1977-79 can be found here

This week also sees the Glasgow Tigers Press and Practice day. The photos will be taken in George Square, but the real action will be at Ashfield when we get to see our new boys Josh, Mitchell and Ross in action.
