It seems the Tigers season has started with a few hiccups. First of all, it seems Ross Brady has broken his collarbone in an indoor Skiing accident. Over at Easy Tiger, theres talk of 'Fan Revolt'. More like fanny rovolt if you ask me, it's just one guy shouting the odds, so I think that one can safely be put to bed. It seems all the riders, barring Lee Dicken went to an indoor ski-slope for for a bit of team bonding. Nothing to do with the promotion, they made the decision off their own backs, and it seems poor Ross came a cropper. Not the sort of activity I would have indulged in just before the season starts, but these things happen. I was floating through the PTFC.Net forum earlier today, and found a thread on Dundee player Derek Lyle, who seems to have injured himself in the confines of his own home. The thread then went on to describe the numerous freak accidents that occur to sportsmen outwith the field of play...............
Shit happens, get on with it.
On top of that, Sundays Spring Cup tie with Edinburgh is OFF due to a waterlogged track. In one sense it's good news, as Ross will probably have one less race weekend out of the saddle, but it's put a bit of a downer on my weekend, I can tell thee.................
I knew early March was a tad optomistic to be starting the season.
